Here is a picture of my frenchie on my rag rug! Easy to clean, I just shake, wash and dry. A great way to use old sheets or teach a child to crochet. You could make also make placemats.
tutorial here
I did take a stitch in the fringe, it randomly comes off in the wash or dry. I just used machine sewing thread, takes a little time but well worth it.

frilly crocheted dress
This is a little dress I crocheted for my daughter 17 years ago, just found the picture and thought I would share. Hope you enjoy, it was really fun to make and worked up pretty fast. I made a ruffled tricot slip in white to go under it. The pattern is from a book called Baby's Heirloom Wardrobe, by Beverly Study

KID'S GRANNY HAT (C) Pink

This is the link to the pattern, it is free on her site. Enjoy!
hat pattern here:
Sabrina is now so stylish! This is a fun little hat to make, and it turns out so pretty!
The original pattern has other colors added in, but I wanted to make her a pink hat. I just made up a flower and then sewed it on with 3 Bullion stitchs this is link for the stitch. bullion stitch
I like the way the granny stitches make it look a little lacy, It is very easy to understand the pattern.

Green/Pink chevron afghan
I am making lots of progress on my afghan! I am so pleased with the look of it. I put the link in for the pattern. I hope you enjoy making this as much as I have. We bought a couch set off craigslist and I didn't have an afghan to match and this will look great! Just a few more rows and I'll be done. This is one of those patterns, after you get going it just gets in your head and no more looking at the pattern! I wish I would have done 4 rows of the dark green but I think it will look good this way. Happy crocheting!
Ripple pattern here:
It's free and goes rather quickly

slipper socks
Just thought I would show you my latest finished slipper socks, they are really fun to crochet. I use some scraps I had and they are very heavy and warm. Sabrina's in her wheel chair at school alot so we use 2 to 3 heavy socks to make sure her little feet stay warm. I will post where I got the pattern soon, but it's on the web and it's free!
It's so cold here, I think it will be nice to get warm again.
I have also been subing at the school alot lately, that's been pretty fun and it pays too!
