New picture!

Just been subbing at the school, doing wash, knitting reading, sewing and defiantly need more exercise! The new picture on the top of my blog is one the necklaces that my daughter makes and sells. If you would like to buy one contact me and I will send more pictures.
It is so cold, I think spring will be a nice change when it comes. I hope everybody is doing good out there where ever you are. Think happy thoughts, and do more knitting! Goodnight..........

slipper socks

Just thought I would show you my latest finished slipper socks, they are really fun to crochet. I use some scraps I had and they are very heavy and warm. Sabrina's in her wheel chair at school alot so we use 2 to 3 heavy socks to make sure her little feet stay warm. I will post where I got the pattern soon, but it's on the web and it's free!

It's so cold here, I think it will be nice to get warm again.

Life goes on.....

Well I haven't posted for a while, I've been knitting, crocheting and reading alot. We are all doing ok and I need to get more pictures of finished projects posted. We still have some frenchies puppies we are looking to find good homes for.
We have a lot of snow! And I am ready for summer, looking forward to getting warm again. Our littlest has had the chicken pox, but not too bad, she has had the immunization. And so the chicken pox is a lot milder that when my older kids had them.
Have been watching a new show called Christina Cooks, I am trying to learn to cook healthier and she has a lot of good idea's, I have tried a few. Can wait to try some more, healthy is a good thing. And loosing some weight wouldn't hurt either! More later.............

Enjoying Christmas Eve

Hi everyone I haven't posted for a while, life has been very hectic, and now I can relax a little an then it will be time to start the Christmas Meal preparations for tomorrow. We haven't had a great year but I have good kids so that has to mean something....

life Oh well....

Well life seems to have a way of getting away from me, I went yesterday and bought some school supplies and last week we did school pictures for two of the older kids. And we have a few litters of frenchies coming soon.
I think the hardest thing is sometimes in a house full of people and with so much to do it's hard not to let lonliness get the best of you. Sometimes even though I have plenty to do it is still hard to just be!
I have so much to do and so little energy how do you get it all done. Knitting, crocheting and sewing seam to be at a stand still so hopefuly next time I post their will be more.
However I did read 2 books by Amber Esplin, I would highly recommed these books. She has a way of bringing out incredible emotion when you read her books. The scenery and people she describes are so vivid you can almost reach out and touch it, she is very good. Have a good blog day Shawna

One of our liters

The dog at the top of my blog had puppies about 4 weeks ago, these are her puppies. They are French Bulldogs puppies, she free whelped this liter, their are 3 males and 1 female. We think they are just beautiful! They have chocalate, red pied and brindle in them. They have their eyes open and they get around a little now too. The mother takes very good care of them. Very tired

Have had a very long couple of weeks, we have had four liters of pups these last 2 months. Some have sold recently and we are looking for good home for our others. We would eventually like to start showing some of our dogs. My knitting, crocheting and reading have been on the back burner for the last few weeks. I have been learning to knit some lace as part of a sweater for my daughter. I will post pictures soon. Although I am not sure anyone is reading this but me. School is almost out and 3 of my kids have jobs but they still have to eat so if you have some good summer recipes I would love them.
I have been struggling with depression for a long time now, somedays are just very hard. I was hopeing by doing this blog I would get a little input. So I would like to know what some of you have done to get through depression. Well it's way past bed time so more later. Have a great day and I hope your getting more knitting done than I am.

Knit blue boys sweater

Well another neighbor had a baby so I hurried and finished and the little green sweater and had turned out just beautiful. I delivered it and she said she just loved it! I still have the blue sweater, which is a knitted cuff to cuff infant sweater to put the buttons on.

We had a liter of puppies this week they are just beautiful little fawn, pied and brindle pied french bulldog puppies. We lost three puppies from another liter and well its just really sad when that happens.
My daughter had a track meet this week and she did awesome! My son has had 2 track meets canceled he's really disappointed. They were canceled because of more snow. My other son seems to be struggling alot with who he is, he's a 6th grader in jr. high very tough years for kids.

finished sweater

Hi everyone

I finally finished the sweater and I also made the hat to go with it, except I added a ruffle. She had her baby three weeks early, so I had to hurry.

Two of our dogs had puppies, they had to have C-sections and the vet let a puppy in the birth canal! WOW that was bad. I have another sweater I am finishing for a little baby boy that was born Sunday a week ago.
